Well I can tell you from personal experience that it is not easy . I wrote many letters e-mails and spoke to many people . Peta and other such organizations did not offer much help . The first time I got somebody is when I went to Augusta and talked to my state representatives and the state game wardens office . I started all this in 1995 and did not get results until January 20 2000 that is when Iguanas became illegal to sell in the state of Maine . I have received allot of grief as well as praise for my actions but I must tell you that I am proud to have been a part of it . It is a hard fight but it is worth it . I wish you much luck with your efforts .
