Wondering if Something is wrong here?

My Ig shed 2 weeks ago, and now I noticed that he is starting to turn very dark around the head and neck, brown/black. Anyone know why this is happening. He is 3 years old, good humidity and lighting and temp is fine. Any comments would be great
