The baytril prescribed should be administered for at least 2 weeks. And Nubs is right, be sure to stress the possibility of "Cat Scratch Fever"! Cats mouths and claws are NASTY! I have almost gotten a blood infection from a cat bite (at the vet's) myself! My whole arm was swollen for weeks! Don't think an ig could survive that if left untreated. Good Luck! Hope he pulls through.
