Well, iguanas are known for ignoring things... they close their eyes and pretend that you are noththere if they do not want to be disturbed. It seems that their motto is "out of sight, out of mind". What seem to be the case is that sometimes the stomach is the out of sight part. I was watching one of my igs being bothered by an anole on the lawn, and finally she just got so annoyed that she ate it. I was rather annoyed at this, but at least now I know what it takes to provoke an ig to either bite, or bite and swallow.
If your tiel cage is secure than they will be ok. If not, then your ig may climb in for a closer look, if the tiels attack her or make a ruckus, she may eat them.

Do you think she would eat them if given the chance? I know the obvious solution is to keep Iggy out of the living room (where the birds are) but that is her favorite room and her brother has the only other ig-proof room to himself.
