I would like to say that I used to work in a pet store that sold iguanas, and that I was the primary caretaker of the reptiles, and that I DID buy my iguana in a pet store but that there is no reason why iguanas shouldn't be sold in stores where they are obviously healthy, clean, and fed properly with appropriate settings. As an advanced wildlife biology student and a former pet store employee, I understand the implications of pet store policy and how iguanas are treated in the pet trade, in the wild, and in transport. I say if a baby is what Trippe wants because he feels he can provide a suitable life for it, then there shouldn't be anyone to say that he shouldn't based on THEIR OWN emotions and feelings. Take a more objective standpoint and you may see that not everyone out there is uneducated and ill-intentioned.

: : Since basically the opinions I am getting are "petstores will never stop selling iguanas" and that I should go ahead and continue the same old "nice" approach (that obviously has not worked in the past years) I decided just to forget the whole thing.
