i am the owner of 2 and a half year old female iguana who is quite docile.i recently have acquired a savannah monitor about 14 inches long including tail,I"m not sure of it"s sex) from a friend at work who was keeping it for a delinquent cousin when his wife found it and said that either the lizard went or she did so I took it.my wife and I had been wanting a monitor but wanted to be better prepared when this free one was offered to us.It seems quite healthy and docile.my question is beings as my ig"s cage is quite large and could house both comfortably could they be housed together?their both roughtly the same size but of course the monitor is a meat eater.will the monitor eat my Ig?I"ve already fed it a large mouse and it wasn"t pretty:-)Is this a safe thing to do since the monitor came in a glass aquarium thats definitely too small and the igs cage is real handy?
