Now that he is bigger, he can handle whole ones, but I still usually split them in half so that it looks like he gets more in his salad. I've actually seen him dig and fling the rest of his salad right off the plate to get to a hidden blueberry he thinks he spots!

: I'm not Xta (Sleestack's mom), but what we do is cut the berries in half. You've seen the size of our iguanas (large adults). I always had the fear of ours choking on whole berries too.
