This is my last one.....I PROMISE! LOL
We are dog-sitting a sheltie for our neighbors who are moving. It is so interesting to see Baby react to this strange dog in the house! He has become the most curious creature, peering out from his shelf and watching this dog's every move. He has also been VERY submissive, in other words, I can reach in and pet him without the dewlap popping out, he is a lot cuddlier and his appetite has decreased quite a bit. Luckily we only have this dog until Sat! I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen? I was thinking that maybe he thinks he's not the head-honcho any more because there is an animal that is 50 times his size? We have a little dog (half peekaneze (sp?) and half chihuahua) but he has grown up with her around. It's almost as if he has a split personality. I'm just fascinated. Before, he could still be a little feisty, but once you would hold him he'd calm right down. Now it's almost as if he's drugged. Don't get me wrong, he's very alert and not acting sick or stressed, (even though he probably is slightly stressed), but I just wanted to post about this to see what your thoughts were. Sorry this is so long. Take care. J
