Another use for KY

Hi,

K-Y applied several times daily can be a great aid but it does sound like a humidity problem. You can pick up a humidistat/guage pretty cheap but I bet it's extemly low in your cage. I use a humidifier in the Ig room and it's been a struggle to maintain 75% this winter. I like to maintain it around 85%. Just having a pan of water near a heat source such as a space heater or vent can raise it 5-10%. Hanging wet towels are another way to help.
