nah..... i think it's illegal.
You can tempt them into getting a book on iguana care. Most pet shops offer the one by R. Barlett.
It's no bible, but it's ok.
its also only $5, so they should get it.

Technically, you're just a petty employee giving customer satisfaction, or else u're fired.

U can talk to the manager about it, and tell costumers about Peta or other animalists associations that sue people who mistreat animals.

U cant do much. igs are cheap, and easy to replace. we gotta live with it. if u see a kid like that again, u can tell him it has been already purchased, and the person has to come and pick it up later. then look for it a home.

u cant do much in the eye of economy and customer satisfaction.
