Vega$ roams freely in the bedroom. And I have a tarp covering the bed. She'll poop on the tarp if she needs to (usually she only poops in the morning in the shower). Plus her food is laid atop the tarp. But, I have a very boring bedroom -- no trinkets, no breakables, no neat stuff on the wall.. Vega$ somehow manages to do the unthinkable. Oh, there's also the dangers of poop painting. Sometimes Vega$ wants out of the room (she'll claw the door or underneath it) and if she doesn't get her way, she'll poop by the door and drag it across the carpet. Thank goodness we had the forethought to paint the bedroom with a semi-gloss paint, and our carpet is brown. I haven't had any problems with her basking lamp being bothered with; it's mounted above her. We have miniblinds -- but I just draw them up to their highest level to where she can't reach. I've also set up climbing ladders for her so she can go to and from from her spot to the bed or ground below. We do also vacumn our room several times a week, to catch any hair or what not.
Des.
