4 MONTHS!!! You should take him to the vet, he may be dehydrated & I'm sure
in poor health after not eating for 4 months. You should try the Mellissa Kaplan
diet that she has on her web page. Not sure of the address, check on lower
posts. Generally a stubborn Iguana will give in & generally LOVE leafy greens such as
Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Dandelion Greens etc... as well as the rest of thier proper
diet. If your Ig is refusing to eat after 4 months, there may be more severe problems than just
a fussy eater.
Good luck, I hope all goes well!
: Our one year old male iguana, Issy, has stopped eating.
: We were feeding him broccoli and spinach until we found
: out that neither was good for him. Since then we have
: not found anything that he will eat except a fruit mix-
: ture. Could something else be wrong? He hasn't eaten
: more than a tablespoon full a day(sometimes less) in
: about four months now.
