about $16. It has bendable limbs so I knew I could make it work for Baby's cage. There is a bare corner in his cage and I've been waiting for the right fake plant to come along. The trunk of the tree has rope-like twists around the base all the way up to the top so it's perfect for climbing. Anyway, as soon as I put it in there and put Baby back on the ledge of his cage to see what he would do, he immediately jumped over to the base of the tree and proceeded to climb up it. There is a piece of wood that extends along the back of the cage from his basking shelf to the tree and he kept going back and forth between his shelf and the tree. Kinda like a kid in a candy store! I thought he might not like something so huge thrown into his space, but apparantly he has no problem with it.I watched him like a hawk for the first little while. He didn't taste the leaves or anything, but that's probably because we have two other big trees in the living room that he hangs out in all the time. We were able to have our normal *cuddle* session tonight and I didn't detect any bad vibes. Just thought I'd share. They are so fun, aren't they!? J
PS....I put a towell around the base of the tree to catch any unwanted "pleasantrys". Any other suggestions from people who use fake plants in their enclosures? If so ,let me know! Thanks!
