Stunted Iguana

My friend's iguana isnt growing. When we first got her last June she was 4-5 inches long. She ate a diet that consisted mosty of commercial iguana pellets for the first 4 to 5 months that we had her, then we switched her to the iguana den diet. She is very colorful and alert, but she is only 5-6 inches long now. In 6 months shes only grown an inch or 2! Was it the pellets that stunted her growth? What else could it be? We wormed her so it cant be worms....
