Where do you keep their food dish? Near where they bask, or on the bottom of their enclosure? We have a little fella (or madame) right now that came to us having only been fed the dry juvie food. He is about 13 inches STL and we have him in a temporary 3x3x3 ft cage. I would set his plate on the floor of his cage and he wouldn't come down off his perch to eat. So, after a few days of wasted salad, I decided to to set a big clump of it up near his basking area, leaving the rest on the plate. Sure enough, that's all it took. I still do this, even though he now comes down to eat as well, but a lot of times they are super nervous in such a new and big environment that they like to stay in their *comfort zone*. Try this technic and see if it works for you. Keep us posted! Good luck. J
