OK - here is my question...
Stone is BARELY growing. I got him/her on July 31, 2000 - at that time he was about 2"SVL - well now he is 4"SVL and its been just over 5 months since I've owned him. (or he's owned me! hee hee)
Am I imagining his slow growth or do you really think he's growing slow? He sheds...sparsley. I feed him a good diet, I think, daily it consists of: Parsnip, carrots, fresh spinach, collard greens, mustard greens, fresh green beans & a little bit of Kale. I also spray the diet with one spritz of ESU Reptiles "Iguana Calcium Spray". I have a UVB light which he basks under often about 5 to 6 inches away, a ZOOMED basking bulb for day & a heat light for night. The night temp is 80 & day temp is 90. Stone is a beautiful green. I swim him in the tub in warm water almost daily. I spray him & his enclosure several times a day with water & spray his food with water too. The humidity levels go from a low of 30 to a high of 80 depending on the time of day, etc.
He eats well for a small little guy. Never see him drink though. Is he growing slow? If so, any ideas WHY??
