My iguana (1 1/2 yrs., Length snout to vent is 9")is showing all the signs of an male iguana during breeding season.. ie. has turned orange, diminished appetite and eating, head bobbing, etc. The thing that worries me, is that he is digging all the time trying to get out of his cage.. it's a large cage - 6'x4'x3'.. he has been in this cage since August, but only recently started this constant digging...He has injured himself.. falling and breaking a couple nails.. I have moved him into his old tank just for safety purposes... Is there anything I can do for him.. the poor thing seems so miserable???!!!!! Thanks for your help.
