at least some good comes from the death of those unfortuantae iguanas and that is awareness and what to look for and what not to do!
Hello all! I am the owner of three fat, happy, free roaming iguanas. I have a fairly big problem ( Iguana lovers you will understand.) A few days ago my freind left me with his young ig while he went on vacation. When he brought it to my home I was shocked a what I saw. The poor little iguana was showing early signs of MBD it has a large abcess on its right front leg and most of the skin has been rubbed off its nose. To my amazment it is active, eats good, and has good color. The real problem is I have been trying to get him to give the lizard to me because I am sure that I would be able to save its life, but my friend is reluctant to give it up. If you have any advice or suggestions please let me know. Thank you for any help.
