Kermit's broken arm...

Poor Kermit, who's already suffered such terrible illness and injury in his short little life, somehow fractured his upper arm about 2 months ago. The upper part of the fracture was shattered so there was no way to set the fracture. My vet suggested euthanasia but I refused so we followed his instructions and used Vet Wrap to make a soft splint. I kept Kerm in a 55 breeder for 2 weeks with 2 brand new ZooMed 5.0's and pushed the NeoCalc. Five weeks later we removed the splint and the fracture has healed. He uses the arm normally and is climbing all over the place now. It was an inexpensive treatment, besides the cost of the xrays. This little lizard continues to amaze me.
