How long does this moodiness thing last??

I put in the a dirt box for Squiggs in case she is going to lay eggs she still hasn't plus she is still being a total hag! How long does it take for an ig to lay eggs? How long does breeding season last? I am just worried because she eats so little...but she seems still very fat, healthy, and alert..just nasty...
