hi my name is chuck my iguana's name's are magenta (6 months old) and nubs (?adult?) it is very nice to meet you travis (extends hand) i have had nubs for about a month he was very ill when i got him he is doing alot better! still not 100% but better! magenta i have had for about 4 or 5 she was a pet store ig after losing my first one and long thoughts about buying another i decided i could take care of another and wanted to
she eats nothing but fresh veggies and some dry food both ig's are on the iguana den diet im up for all suggestion's.

I did not see anyone seeking help there . If you read the first post you will see that he is asking why his friend did not get a response to his asking for an iguana . I did not see that post myself . I did however attempt to explain reasons why he might not have received a response . I also told his friend to contact me as I almost always have an iguana or two looking for homes he did not do this ? I have been taking in iguanas for 15 years and I do not know everything about iguanas I learn something almost every day . I also will not wavier from my views on iguana ownership and the fact that a person should have a stable home to take on the responsibility of owning an iguana . Having had to deal with what happens when these are not met I am able to say this with certainty . The fact is I started coming here to help I have responded to every post where I thought I might have something to offer . I will continue to do so as I feel I have plenty to offer about the care of iguanas . My help is not needed as much here as iguanas are not legal to sell in Maine now . In the past 6 months I have only had to take in 4 this time last I have no idea how many passed through my doors . So lets just say that we all want what I want for every iguana to die of old age after a long healthy active fun filled life . Well that is my 2 cents .
