Well the term " College kids " is not meant to be derogatory . A man is not determined by his age but by his actions . The fact is that I have taking in Many iguanas from " College persons " Because they are not stable ( stable meaning a home and or future plans they tend to be spur of the moment people ) Iguanas live a LONG time The oldest I have seen with my own eyes was 17 when I met him and he lived a year after that . I can not even count the times I have went to the college to pick up an iguana that is not wanted anymore ,is to much trouble , is sick and the people that bought it do not have the money for the vet . or my favorite one the " my roommate left it here and I do not know what to do with it " . As for the fact of me " Doing nothing " I have spent untold dollars countless miles and many a sleepless night caring for the iguanas that others no longer want ( just ask my wife she will be glad to tell you ) . As for my requirements for who I give an iguana to I stand by them 100% and many of the reasons are listed above . If you look at my first response you will see that I did offer to help him get an iguana as I have three here looking for GOOD homes . Just as a note if you are taking a college class you should ask them to help you with your grammar it needs work .
