I've had several iguanas in my time and I still keep them.As for the attitude problem I find that some males tend to have a very cocky attitude through out what I call thier teen age years.It usually lasts untill about five years old.But remember one thing every animal has a different personality and I've had iguanas that have never "tamed down".The potty problem can be fixed in a number of ways, and you might have to try several of them untill you find the one that works for your Iguana. Try putting some of its feces on a news paper where you want him to go.Or put some in a shallow pan with some water in it.I've noticed that iguanas (some) like to go in the same place time after time and alot seems to have to do with the scent of a former droppings or the scent of objects surroundig former droppings.
