: Thanks to everyone that answered my post "Too many greens?", I really appreciate the help. I ordered a large Zoomed Iguanarium (36"x18"x48"). I was told that this was an excelent enclosure, but of course, it's coming tommorow and I have started thinking of possible problems. Is this a good enclosure, and can anybody give me an idea of the humidity range I should keep it, and how. Thanks for all of your help.
It is pretty difficult to maintain much humidity in
a wire cage. I would suggest getting a VERY large
water bowl (try going to home depot and looking at stuff
like cement mixing trays that hold a lot of water,
and use one of those as a water bowl). It would also
be a good idea to get a spray bottle and spray the
cage and the iguanas themselves once or twice a day.
I would also suggest giving them baths.
