: It's so nice to hear a mom stand up and say, "No, it will be way too expensive to keep that animal", rather than walking out of ther with a 10 gallon tank, hot rock, bag of monkey chow, and instructions to feed the iglet lettuce, and thinking he won't outgrow the tank.
Hey,
I read your little story about your ig losing it's tail, This past thursday my only ig lost his tail...I was hysterical and so scared. So how is your ig's tail now? I know my ig's tail will grow but black. Is there anything you did ? Thanks
: When little Stu lost his tail (our only ig to lose his tail while he was with us), it grew back black. Darwin's tail stump is brownish, and Dexie's is stump is white. Just within the last few months, Stu's tail is growing scales (they have a greenish tinge to them)but untill he got them, his tail was Black and Rubbery looking, sortof like a bike tire or something.
: As for the pet store...KEEP ON THEM!!!! Go back as often as you possibly can, and keep the NIAD info flowing! I always assume that the pet store employees forget about me the second that door shuts behind me. I make sure that everyone in the store knows who I am, and what I know. Either be thier best friend, or their worst enemy, depending on how they accept your information. Don't give up on them! Good luck!
