Ceramic heat emitters are a good source of heat without the light. I DO however use a light at night (I dont have a CHE yet - but my sister has one for her igs) & Stone is ok with it. He prefers the purple toned light though. Take the ig to the vet though for an all around check up - you wont rest until you know your baby is healthy.
