:he has a basking light it is just a vitalight bit its only 5 inches from his basking area he is a free romaer at day only confined at night and he doesnt seem to care his heating pad is even there its plenty big for him on the bottom yet he doesnt even go down there but to eat
What are his cage temps? Also you only mentioned a heating pad, does he have a basking light as well? Iguanas need a heat source above them to digest food properly, and be all around healthy.
: Check those temperatures! Too cold will cause what you describe.
