Look. Heres my deal. Marisa, I understand what you mean about adopting an iguana, just don't be so harsh. I've been following this forum for a little over a week, and I decide to post that I might get an Iguana, and you jump down my throat for not adopting. In your message you talk about how "Hopefully it won't be abused it's entire life" and things like that. You automatically think that I'm going to be a bad keeper. I've spent the last week , night and day, researching about Iguanas, so I'm not misinformed like you said. I know about the hardships and responsibilitys Iguanas carry, and that they can be dangerous at times. All I'm just saying, is don't be so pushy all the time. So what, I BOUGHT an Iguana from a very good pet store that had nice tanks and has specialized in reptiles for 20 years. That doesn't mean that they were abused and mistreated just because they are from a petstore. You seem so against the purchase of EVERY Iguana, adoptions seem the only way to you.
Also, on a lighter note, Kramer is taking his new home pretty well. He's eating right, and doesn't mind to much if I handle him. It was scary at first, every time I tried to touch him he'd run off, but I eventually got him without any struggle. Now I know this charming personality will probably change in a week or so, but I'll enjoy it whle it lasts! :)
