one thing that iguanas seem to hate more than that giant hand coming after them, is change.
move just the tiniest thing in their cage and bam...they refuse to eat. they are very territorial and want their stuff to be left alone. i think the new bigger cage was a wonderful idea, and probably necessary too, knowing iguanas and the rate of speed they grow.
maybe if you put an old shirt or something with your scent on it into the new cage, it might accept it better...also i used the same furnishings and food/water bowls too. and kept the subtrate the same too. that seemed to help.
give him his space while getting used to new cage. dont handle him as much, give him time to sulk. in a couple of weeks he should be ready to forget and forgive, hopefully. good luck

: Whats the best way to spend time with my aggressive iggy?
: Also, ever since I moved my ig to a larger cage than what he was previously living in, he seemed to become more territorial and grouchy, and when I go to pick him up he runs around the large cage like a maniac and bangs his poor snout on the walls, should I move him back into his smaller cage? its not like, a tiny cage or anything........
