This particular iguana has become aggressive due to breeding behavior I think. It's that time of year, and he's going on 5 years old. The previous owners said this has come about in the last 2 months, pretty typical male iguana breeding season behavior. As for the stripes, lots of igs have striping patterns of some degree or another. His are very pronounced against the lighter background color. He also has some beautiful dark aqua on his face and neck in a stylized Nike type swirl. He's darkened up some, very common stress reaction, but I'm hoping he brightens back up when he settles in.
