Alan,I never went to the hospital and have been serverly bitten on my feet.It might be a good idea to go tho because they do carry bacteria in their mouths.I just washed the bites with betadine and put anti bacterial cream on mine.I would also ck for any teeth he could have lost in the bite in your finger.They do loose teeth and that can cause and infection.
