Active UV heat - pic. included...

Hi all, I recognize some names here, not being an ig owner
you can see how bored I am to come over here! LOL
I noticed somebody asked if anyone was using the Active UV
heat bulbs, and nobody said they were.
I'm using one for my tortoise, and recommend it. This product
would be fabulous for igs.
My torts cage is 8 ft. long and he's got a 160 watt (I know, weird
wattage) flood bulb. I put the extension onto the dome with
4 screws. The extension is necessary as the bulbs are HUGE!
The light is white, no yellow and I swear it feels different,
you're supposed to stay clear of it even.

If you're not familiar with Active UV heat bulbs, I recommend
taking a good look. Aside from tortoises I think Igs, really
would benefit from this.

Just thought I'd drop a line, hi to any folks who remember
me from the lively ig chats we used to have. niki
