that maybe the humidity had something to do with it
(since it always "seems" hotter when it is humid),
but I can't imagine that Texas is very humid!

: I was wondering how wild iguanas deal with the cold weather. Right now in South America the temp. average. is about 85 degrees, and Mexicos average temp. is about 24 degrees with a high of 28. I have also heard that Iguanas are thriving in Southern Texas(average temp. 55 and high of 75)and in the Florida Keys(average temp. 56 and high of 70). I don't know for sure because I don't live there. That's just what I've heard; but if an Iguana's internal temp. should be 88 degrees, how do live when the weather is way below that?
