Probably is the season. Cage is good, rooms stays 78-80, and his basking temps are also good, 94, 97, and 101. Thats the readings I got yesterday.
He lays in all of them. Will probably pass on the vet, unless I actually see one in action or my IG is very sick and I can't do anything. I tried vets around my area, best they can do is fecal.
I definately wouldn't trust them to draw blood, or treat for anything. The one on the ARAV list here really is kinda bad with reptiles. I had a turtle that died(wrong info) and a monitor that died(charged me a lot, no results) On both they
really didn't have any ideas, just book info. Maybe I've had bad luck, but just wouldn't do it again, plus its too cold outside right now. I'm pretty sure he's healthy, has grown 2 feet in my care so I'm confident things are good.
Like you said, tis the season, I think he would rather roam around than eat!
:
: Ours are not eating anywhere as much as they normaly do.One day they fini their salad, the next day or two they nibble all day and still don't fini their salad.
: Hunger strike,,,,unless they are sick, they usually won't starve themsleves. So have you had the ig to a reptile vet for a complete ck up?If conditions in his cage are optimal, then he should eat when he's ready unless he's sick.
