Desh-I would agree with Harrys dad on the first part, on the 2nd part we have astro turf in our girls house BUT she is potty-trained and would NEVER go in her house so that is a consideration. They are quite easy to potty-train though.

: First off, a very healthy iguana can with stand a fall of over 20 twenty and get up and walk away. This is not to say that this iguana is medically healthy enough for a major fall, given time and the proper diet, it should be able to have whatever branches you'd like to put in the cage. But until you get it's diet straight and in a healthier condition, I would adjust the cage area for ease vs normal climbing arrangements.
: I believe if I were you, I'd buy a ceramic heating element and install it vs a light.
: We use newspaper as a substrate for our iguanas.
