I have a 4 year old female Iguana that is 5ft. I got her during the summer from lady that had to rid of her. She is a free romer.
When I got her she weighed in around 15lbs. and she ate pretty good. I have had Iguanas in the past and I do know that they slow down there eating in the winter, but is it normal for her to lose 4 pounds. The over all room temp. is about 80 degrees, but her area is about 85-90 and her basking spot(where she is all day) is at 100 degrees. She dosen't look frail, but she does have a little hanging skin, so I weighed her. That's how I know she lost the 4 pounds. Maybe I'll post a picture.
