Strange Bath Behavior...

I give my iguana a bath every night, and when I put him in I pour
water over him for the first 5-10 minutes, then I leave the room
to let him do his business. (He will NEVER go poop while I am in
the room watching him...I guess he likes his privacy.) Anyways,
the entire time I am "washing" him he never drinks any of the
water...he always waits until AFTER he goes poop! Does anyone
else have an ig that drinks the water AFTER they poop? I have
always heard that iguanas were very clean animals, so doesn't he
know that this water is disgusting?!?!?! Any ideas?
