: But tell me, how long does it takes to her to get normal?
: i think she likes heat rock rather than the basking light. she´s a place to hide: under the forniture. she has not drank water already (i didn´t notice), so i sprayed water on the cage.
: am i doing right? what else can i do? she´s still with her eyes closed and not interested in movements we make around her. HELP!!!
I would caution you from using a heat rock, Iguanas nerve endings do not detect heat well from beneath them & tend to get severe burns from heat rocks & other 'under-belly' heaters.
Stick to the incandescent (sp?) heat lamps & don't forget a uvb/uva bulb (flourescent). Your iguana is probably stressed like everyone indicates. Iguanas don't like changes of scenery
& can get extremely stressed by little changes let alone complete hike to other parts of the world.
If your iguana doesn't seem to be getting any better in a couple of days I would suggest taking him/her to a QUALIFIED HERP Vet, do not forget to take a fecal sample. It is possible that
your new baby (How old is it?) is infested with parasites.
Hopefully all is OK & good Luck
-Pete
