Yes, I see your point and I agree, I was just trying to put my 2 cents in to say "We're not ALL that bad" In my case, -not trying to start anything- but in my case I was the one who suggested the purchase and had to Beg and Plea, I was the one that researched them, and I'm the one who takes care of my Iguana, Me and ME alone. My mother may feed him once in a while if i'm out of town, but thats the extent of the outside care that he gets other than me.

I agree completely that allto many people see that cute LITTLE lizard in the 10 gallon tank and assume that he/she will stay htat small and be "oh so easy" to take care of, I attatched a link, its what I wrote on my webpage to warn people before they get an iguana.
