If it is food, it will come off *grin* Otherwise, I'd follow Tracie's recommendation and find the source of what is causing what might be a rubbed area or burned area.

P.S. The reason dried food popped in to my head is because spaghetti sauce when dried looks a heck of a lot like dried up blood when on an ig's face. (No meatball folks just pasta and homemade sauce)
