I'm going to paraphrase so I don't get sued!
You can use a stuffed animal, a tee shirt, sweatshirt or a leather glove but make sure you use something sturdy that can withstand a lot of attention (ie:TEETH!).
Try and make sure it has your scent on it *OR* you can make a Luv Sock by taking two pair of men's athletic socks, preferrably green or any other color your Ig may be attracted to, slip one inside the other and fill with rice. (don't pack it too full). Stitch the opening closed. You can warm this in the Microwave (be careful though, the rice gets extremely hot. you just want it warm. I know this because I used to make heating pads for my back using the same method and it doesn't take much to heat that rice) and she says to be sure and clean it between uses because of the stench when you go to re-heat it again. (gee, imagine that!)
Me, when the time comes, I'll probably try the stuffed animal thing. But she does point out that you need to use a stuffed animal that doesn't have a lot of small things on it like buttons, eyes, etc. Have fun! LOL J
