Yes they lay eggs without a father, unfortunately.

: Hi everyone! I haven't posted for soooooo long. Dugan is doing great! He's very healthy, and happy 2. (u can just tell by that man-am-I-spoiled look in his eyes. He's gotten very tame too. He still isn't potty trained. How long does that usually take? Anyway, any ideas of what I should get Dugan for Christmas. I haven't been posting cauz I don't want to be a bother, but let me tell you that reading all of the postings gives my losts of info. One more guestion. If Dugan turns out to be a Dugana, Do the females lay eggs even if there is no father? I'm pretty sure Dugan is a boy, he has huge spikes and dulap. It's so funny. He was head bobbing the other day! I thought they only did that when they were older.Anyway, just thought you would like to know that Dug's doing very well.
