I looked so forward to reading your respones! Thank you so much! I have done a great deal of reading and I am a bit overwhelmed with all that has to be done for the little( big) guy. it is a shame because he seems to have taken a liken to me. he is very calm. likes when i rub his head and under his chin. Unfortuantly, I have slept on it and (at day two) have decided the Iguana life is not for us, at this time in our lives. I feel so badly, he really seems to like me... I will call the original owner ( who did the original rescue,) this afternoon. We had planned to purchase a pup (German Shepard ) for the family, born 6 weeks ago and will be coming to our home any day now. I feel this added with the adorable -and so sweet- Ig will be too much. I am a stay at home mom of four, but I don't want to stretch myself too thinly. I have been reading many post and you all seem to be great ,kind, people. I am jealous that I too will not be able to join the ranks... I do think that this is the best answer. ps. i am going to take a few pictures before he goes back. I am sad at the thought, but I do want whats best for him.
