Thank you everyone for all of the advice. The splint sounds like a great idea but I am afraid that Julia is still a little baby and her toe is so tiny. It's barely the thickness of a toothpick itself and I had such a hard time getting just tape on it. Maybe I will stick with the tape for now and just keep an eye on it and see how that goes first.
