Now, I agree that multiple igs together can be deadly for one of the cage inhabitants, but has anyone ever seen anything like this:
I have 2 iguanas, male 15" svl, 50" stl, female 15.5" svl, 43" stl. They are both free-roamers in a large bedroom with 2 basking spots, food and water dishes on opposite ends of the room. Almost always they "hang out" together.....now for the interesting part.....as my female is starting to get into the egging way, I set up her nest box, and errected a barier between them to give her some privacy to dig and lay eggs.
Saturday night I went out and came home to find that she had destroyed the room to escape her half, and was sleeping peacefully with him on "his" basking log.
Opinions please.
