Dried Figs

i know some people say that dried figs that have been soaked in water are good to add to the MK salad... What I don't know is what kind of dried figs I should use... I picked up Mission Figlets (No fat, No Sodium, High Fiber) and California Calimyrna Figs.. what kind should I use? Thanks ahead of time!
