Just make sure you watch the color of it... if it turns a funky brown, black or grey you want to bring her to the vet. Stone's toe has healed nicely now that it was amputated. The vet amputated it before the broken knuckle, cinged it so it wouldnt bleed & sealed it with some sort of medical glue. After a week it was looking scary... black. I did what the vet said & waited one & half weeks before putting him in the tub. When I did finally - the funky ugly part of the toe came off & it is healed very nice under neath it...
So, an amputated toe isnt the horror I thought it was... and I am a more relieved igmom now. Hopefully your igs toe will heal & wont need it...
