AS previously mentioned, calci sand by T-rex is not very good on arboreal reptiles, such as igs and WD. It is recommended for desert dwelling lizards, BUT!
Even some specimens were reported to suffer from impaction. These include leopard geckoes, tokays, and beardeds.
It seems that folks at T-Rex forgot that inside, animals are "wet" (or moist). The calci-sand builds up if taken into large quantities by the animals, especially when wet from water, food, or feces, becoming gooey and paste-like. Although it is said to be DIGESTIBLE and ABSORBABLE, it is so to a limit. Plus, too much calcium is not very healthy for the lizards, especially when not balanced with VitD3 to absorb it.
However, those who had no problems with it, made sure that water and food were "on solid ground", not surrounded by the calcisand.
And, the potty-spots favored by the animals were setup in either astro-turf or butcher paper.
That is all! Just wanted to add a few things!
