does anyone here happen to be a member of the Northwest Herp Society? I just got two rescued and pretty badly abused iguanas tonight, and they will be looking for a new home with a member of the society in January. The male (about 4 1/2ft) has a pretty badly mangled and scared snout, has a few claws torn off, had an abcess in his jaw that i cleaned out, and is missing the tip if his tail. other then these cosmetic things, he's gorgeous, and healthy and has very clean black markings and a very high crest with tall spikes. His name is Beast btw The female is in the worst shape right now. the tip of her tail was somehow torn off, with the bone and ligaments exposed and is now badly infected but being cared for. She has terrible infected burns covering her shoulder and forarm, and once healed should carry scars, and has a pretty badly bruised snout, which will heal. She has some AWESOME blue covering her shoulders neck and head, and is pretty sweet once out of the cage. with the next couple months of TLC and regular handling, they both should be in good shape and more then friendly, so if anyone here is from the NWHS come to the big adoption day in January!
