Hello all.
I'm in a bit of a fix. I am an avid snake keeper who seems to be getting volunteered to take in an iguana (my brother's neighbor - sister-in-law volunteered me). I'm not particularly interested in keeping this little guy as a pet for myself (had one many years ago). I really don't have the time to give one the proper attention and care that it would need or the space for another cage. It just wouldn't be fair to the ig for me to take it in knowing I don't have the time, space, etcetera to properly provide for it. I'm trying to help these people find a capable rescue group in the Virginia area who would be able to take him/her and place it in a loving home. I haven't seen the ig, but I was told it's about 18" long and aparently healthy. If anyone can point me in a direction I'd really appreciate it. BTW, I've already checked with someone in the local humane society and they have no facilities (didn't figure they would, really) or know of any group that does exotics.
Many thanks in advance.
